Is a root canal painful?
Modern root canal treatment is typically no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. We use gentle techniques and effective anesthesia so most patients feel relief - not pain - during and after the procedure.
How long does a root canal take?
Most root canal treatments are completed in one or two visits, usually 60 to 90 minutes per visit depending on the tooth.
What is an apicoectomy?
An apicoectomy is a focused micro-surgical procedure that treats infection at the tip of a tooth root when a standard root canal isn't enough. It's a tooth-saving option we'll discuss only if it's the right fit.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call us right away at (508) 251-6122. If you're in severe pain, have swelling, or have experienced trauma to a tooth, we'll work to get you in as soon as possible.
